It is with a heavy heart that I am writing today about the loss of Edward “Gene” Smith. My uncle died suddenly and unexpectedly early this morning, August 3rd, 2021.

Gene’s Celebration of Life will be held this Friday, August 6th, at 1pm at Hot Springs Funeral Home Chapel.

After speaking to three different funeral homes in Hot Springs, the goal is to raise $3,500 to help lay Gene to rest.

Our family is absolutely devastated by Gene’s passing and were not prepared for this loss, emotionally or financially. We want to give him the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and to say our goodbyes. This fund will help my Aunt Jan and the family pay for funeral expenses and other related expenses without having to stress about money while we are going through this grievous, difficult time.
