As many of you know, Debbie Byrd just had a very large (football size) cancerous tumor removed from her abdomen.  Her and Barry are facing a long road and fight ahead of them and need all the support they can get.  Debbie and Barry Byrd have been there for so many of us over the years, helping, loving, and caring for us in our time of need.  They are a beautiful couple who love their friends and family beyond words and would give you the shirt off their backs if you needed it. Barry can take FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act) to be with Debbie through this fight, but unfotunately, while FMLA protects Barry's job, it does not keep a paycheck coming in.  He has a little vacation time saved up but it will not cover more than a week or two of lost pay.  We would love to give back to them and help them out during this very very difficult time, so we came up with the idea of raising enough money to allow Barry to take off work for the allotted 12 weeks of FMLA, spend time with Debbie and help her fight this horrible disease.  This will be the toughest fight of her life and anything to easy the impending financial worry and allow them to focus on Debbie's recovery (and not on how they will pay the bills, or put food on their table) will help.  Please donate anything you can,  there is no donation too big or too small!  All donations will go to Debbie and Barry.
