In the early hours of Saturday morning, December 27, 2025, my son Joshua George was in a tragic car accident shortly after finishing a late-night shift at work. He was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery and spent five days in the ICU fighting for his life.

Joshua sustained multiple severe injuries, including:

- Internal trauma to his kidneys, liver, and spleen

- Both wrists broken, along with his left elbow and middle finger

- A dislocated shoulder

- Two broken ribs

- Lacerations across his body

He now faces a long and painful road to recovery, including additional surgeries, physical therapy, and months of healing. He will be unable to work for the foreseeable future, and the financial strain is overwhelming.

As a mother, watching your child suffer is heartbreaking. But this year has brought unimaginable pain. Just months ago, on April 6, 2025, we lost my daughter Dena in a separate car accident. The emotional toll of losing one child and nearly losing another has been devastating.
