Help Willow Heal: Support Her Surgery

Hi, friends! My name is Holly, and this GoFundMe is for this sweet, resilient girl my husband and I have been calling Willow! Willow was spotted hiding under a car in the parking lot the other day at my job in Mesquite, TX. When I saw her, it was evident that she was badly injured; and unable to move to hear weight on her right hind leg, as well as having several wounds to her other legs and belly. I took her up the street to the vet near my job to check for a microchip hoping to reunite her with her family, but she unfortunately isn't chipped, and the vet was unable to assess her injuries because she had no contacts to claim her. I took her home that evening and the next day took her to my vet, explained the situation and they were able to assess and X-ray her, finding that her right hind femur is fractured and would need surgery, either to place the bone in place, or amputate, which the surgeon will determine today. The vet believes from looking at Willow and her X-rays that she was hit by a car and dragged for a distance based on her road rash and the location of the fracture, and estimated a surgery would be about $6,500. Willow is a total love bug and we are dedicated to getting her well and allowing her to be the healthy, energetic, sweet puppy that she deserves to be!
