My husband, Johnny, was severely burned yesterday at our mom/pop classic car shop. Covered CA has refused to approve a UCI burn specialist and requires hundreds of dollars just to walk thru the door. Time is crucial because of the risk of infection so I'm trying to get my husband to professionally trained burn authorities immediately. Sadly all the hospitals or doctors care about is getting paid upfront and not saving lives and preventing anguish.
