Help Debra

Hi all! I am moved to start a Go Fund Me campaign for a dear friend of mine, Debra 'Ricks' Goetsch!

Debra has been experiencing major medical issues since June of 2021! She had undergone a bladder mesh surgery on June 14th. The surgery went well; however, she ended up contracting a UTI and the antibiotics she was given most likely caused her to contract C-Diff. It took her a while to figure out that she had C-Diff but she was hospitalized on September 27th for this condition. They were able to cure the C-Diff; however, shortly after, she starting getting sick again with pain and throwing up. After three weeks of this, she went back in to her doctor and on October 29th she was hospitalized again! They had found a gall stone that was blocking her bile duct and her pancreas. They did surgery to remove the stones on Saturday, October 30th, and put two stents in. On top of all this, the bladder mesh has failed. She has an appointment next week with her gastro-intestinal surgeon to go over next steps.

Debra has not been able to work for months and she is a single mother of a teenage daughter. With no money coming in for the last three months, the bills are starting to pile up and we all know how stressful and overwhelming that can be!

Debra is not one to ask for help very easily but she is always ready and willing to help others in any way she can if needed!

Any amount you can give will be so appreciated and will help relieve her stress so she can focus her energy on healing and getting back to work!
