On Christmas Eve my mother fell asleep and would not wake up. We took her into the Er and discovered she has a brain tumor. The same day, they did an immediate brain surgery to try and remove as much of the tumor as possible. The surgery was a success, however they had to leave 10% due to how it was attached to a main blood vessel. Mom is 52 years old, hardworking , independent woman who owned her own business. She would never agree for me to ask others for money to help fund her. She has never asked the government to help support her either. Unfortunately she never managed to afford her own health insurance . Thank God there was a charity that supported her brain surgery and her stay at the hospital. She still has to go through a lot of medical proceeders, such as MRIs, radiation, and care taking. She will no longer be able to operate her Daycare center so the family is faced with figuring out how to make all this work. God is good, and he is in control , his plan is perfect!
