Yorkshire 3 Peaks for Mens Mental Health
My name’s Matt Hazelgrave, we lost my younger brother Gareth (Gaz) to suicide in January of this year. Gaz was only 32 years old and was a much loved dad, son, brother and uncle. I felt I had to do something in his honour to raise both awareness and some money for a charity.
Myself, some family and friends will be completing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on 7th August. We will cover 24 miles and 5,000 feet of climbing, facing rocky terrain and steep climbs and will push ourselves to the limit for such a vital cause. We’ll take on the 3 highest peaks in Yorkshire: Pen-y-ghent (694m), Whernside (736m) and Ingleborough (723m)
Recent events have seen a huge rise in the number of suicides in the UK especially in men. I ask you to join me in trying to make a difference. I'm raising money in aid of ANDYSMANCLUB which is a male suicide prevention charity and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause.
