Support the Marcewicz Family after Motorcycle Accident
Donation protected
UPDATE::
Kevin is home and healing now. Thank you everyone for your donations and your continued thoughts and prayers for him and our family. Your donations made it possible for us to catch up on two different bills for May!!
On April 21st, my husband was in a motorcycle accident that led to a month-long (and counting) stay in the hospital. During this time, Kevin underwent blood transfusions, two scopes down his throat, countless blood draws, and one knee surgery thus far. He has also battled a series of seven different blood infections, which caused him to have fevers as high as 104.6°F which also made him septic. He has an up coming surgery on Monday 5/19, where they will be removing the metal bars that are in his leg and taking bone marrow samples to check for lymphoma due to an enlarged spleen. Then months of recovery time. It has been a harrowing time, but he's a fighter and we're taking it one day at a time.
With my husband's accident and month-long hospital stay, l've been struggling to balance work, finding daycare, and visiting him in the hospital. It's been incredibly tough to manage financially, and we're now facing difficulties paying our bills. Any help would be greatly appreciated during this challenging time.
We appreciate your time in reading this and any donation to our family would be greatly appreciated but honestly not expected. Another wonderful gesture would be sending him some notes of encouragement. After being in the hospital for weeks and weeks at a time it's been quite lonely.
