Hello everybody,

My name is Dee and I'm here to ask for your support during this devastating time. My in-laws, the Wootens, are facing an unimaginable loss in their lives. On Friday May 8th, just two days before Mother's Day, they tragically and unexpectedly lost one of their twin boys, precious Dakota. Dakota's life began with a lengthy stay in the NICU and despite the many obstacles placed before him, he battled and overcame so much throughout his all too-brief life. He was a little superman, a true joy, and an incredibly special light in so many of our lives, all the way from North Carolina to California. We looked forward to seeing photos and videos of all their children, but especially the twins, Dakota and Kai. Cheryl and Travis have dedicated so much to their friends, family, and especially their children, and now it is our turn to support them.

We are organizing this fundraiser to help them navigate this impossible time, covering potential funeral costs, medical and grocery bills, and allowing them to take time off work to grieve. If you are able, please consider a donation to help alleviate the financial pressure on them. Your kindness can help them focus on remembering their baby without the immediate stress of survival.
