Our mother Angela Patton was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma Cancer on Easter Sunday 2017. She is scheduled to begin treatment this week at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Chicago, Illinois. While insurance covers some of the costs, additional funding is needed for specific examinations and other expenses like travel, lodging and meals. Our family is asking for your support as our mother begins one of the deepest and most emotional journeys of her life.
Even though this is not her first obstacle, our mother has seen many hardships in her lifetime; her mother passed away when she was ten years old and she had to assist in the raising of her seven siblings as a young teenager; even though her grandmother and her aunt were instrumental in her and her siblings growth, it was often very difficult for her emotionally. As a young adult in her twenties, her grandmother passed away, and eventually her dad passed away.
Our mother lost the root of her support at an early age. If there was ever a time that she needed the love and support of her own mother it would be now; but that is not possible. We are asking for your support by assisting our mother financially during this most crucial time. Your donations will go directly to her and will help alleviate the concern of expenses while she goes through this critical process. Please know that no amount is too small.
