Bubba was forced to be put down due to his condition. However, we still need help covering his medical bills!

On November 12th, we learned that Bubba's bladder was the size of a tennis ball, his intestines were blocked, and his kidneys infected. This fund is to help support him through his surgery.

This will include flushing his system, anesthesia, and performing a PU Surgery. What is a perineal urethrostomy?

Male cats can more easily develop a blockage of urine because of the anatomy of their urinary system. The urethra is a tubular structure that leads from the bladder to the outside of the body. In the male cat, the urethra, especially the portion that is within the penis, is quite narrow. It therefore can become more easily blocked with urinary stones, a combination of crystals and mucus that forms a 'plug', blood clots, or a tumor.
