Hello, my name is Nancy Jones, founder of Pearls Of Gratitude. This nonprofit was started to support the fight against child sex trafficking and other vicious offshoots of poverty.

We are hosting our first JOYRIDE, a 444-mile bike ride on the Natchez Trace Parkway, to bring hope to children and families struggling to live in the most impoverished cities in the United States.

We are raising money to benefit high-risk youth like these three girls in Jones County, Mississippi, whose mother, a pregnant crack addict, leaves them for days at a time during her drug binges. High illiteracy and high school dropout rates are largely responsible for increasing gang violence, drug abuse, teen pregnancies, and child sex trafficking.

The JOYRIDE will allow our team to raise funds to purchase a property in Laurel, Mississippi, that will be a safe place for kids to gather and participate in after-school enrichment programs.
