Tustin High Community,
The Class of 2020 has experienced a senior year that they will never forget, but on top of that, many of our students are experiencing an extra layer of hurt. The Black Lives Matter movement has taken such an immense uprising in the past couple weeks and it is up to us to continue to build up it’s power.
Tustin High School prides itself in its diversity and attempts to celebrate each and every race, culture, religion, sexuality, shape, and size. In consideration of recent events, I would like to support the black community by awarding a scholarship to one black female who is planning to attend college this fall to financially assist in furthering their academic career. Please join me in celebrating the black community. It is very unfortunate that it took these circumstances for our country to realize the hurt that our neighbors, relatives and community members have gone through for so long, but we must use this time to stand up and fight with them. Thank you all!
