Help Support My Little Turtle Rescue

Hi friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers —

My name is Melissa Stevens Madden, a Massachusetts state licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator and the founder of My Little Turtle Rescue, a small but passionate wildlife rehab effort focused entirely on helping injured and ill wild turtles. This is my first year as a licensed turtle rehabilitator, and it’s already been a record-breaking season for turtle injuries and intakes.

Sadly, turtle populations are declining across the country, and every individual matters. Many come in after being hit by cars, attacked by animals, or suffering from illness or habitat loss. Like many rehabbers I know, I’m currently inundated with patients and doing my best to give them the care they deserve.

I’ve been so grateful for those who have donated supplies from my Amazon wish list and made contributions already — truly, thank you. And the reality is that the startup costs for this work have been overwhelming, and continuing through the busy season just isn’t financially sustainable without some help.

Your donation will help cover critical items like:

-Medications and wound care supplies

-Fluids and syringes for hydration support

-Shell repair materials

-Proper lighting and heating equipment

-Enclosures and tanks for housing

-Food and ongoing daily care
