John Disterdick 80th Birthday Blast

I will be Redefining Age by celebrating my 80th birthday in a very unique way! I will be participating in 8 events to bring glory, honor, and attention to the saving power of Jesus Christ. The events are as follows:

 

 

All on March 15th!!!

 

 

This event will have coverage with many media outlets including ABC, NBC and CBS.

 

Being a strong athlete, as you know, has always been important to me and it has served as a bridge to share the gospel with many. This event is no different! The way it will be done this time is by partnering with a ministry that is near and dear to my heart called ComeOnLetsGo. They have reached over 10 million people (4.8 mil just last year) with the Gospel through their digital online evangelism ministry. They have recorded hundreds of stories of normal people with big problems all who have found solutions through Christ. They have found a way to get a story of God's love in front of an individual for just five cents. That’s amazing! For just five cents, someone can hear about the Gospel and then click through to learn more about a relationship with our Loving Savior!

 

My goal is to raise $80,000 to reach 1.6 million people through my 80th birthday event. Wouldn’t that be fantastic? I just knew you would want to be a part of this! I would be honored if you would support this goal!

 

As you can see, the event is themed around “80” honoring my 80th. And so, we are asking for sponsorships of $80, $800, $8000 etc to help reach the goal. If God leads you to give an amount without an eight, don’t worry about the theme, follow His instruction.

 

Especially in today’s time, so many people are lost and searching for answers in all the wrong places. We know the answer is in Christ! That is why I am dedicating my birthday to tell them about Him! Won’t you join me?
