I’m raising money for my mother and brother after their apartment caught on fire, leaving them with nothing. They’re safe, but my brother’s dog didn’t make it, which has been heartbreaking for all of us. Right now, they’re trying to rebuild their lives from the ground up — finding a place to stay, replacing essentials, and trying to recover from the shock of losing everything.
