Turning Pain Into Recovery — With Your Help
Donation protected
My wife has spent the last six years quietly enduring a cascade of serious health issues, with much being caused by poorly trained and negligent medical professionals—blinding headaches, chronic fatigue, pain radiating from her jaw down her left side, shortness of breath, vision disturbances, hair loss, and more. Through it all, she has been a wonderful and present mother, wife and friend, she’s worked multiple jobs, smiled through the pain, and continued to show up for others with a kind heart and giving spirit. You’d never know she was suffering if you met her—she hides it that well. We recently found real answers about what’s been causing her pain, and now she needs surgery to begin healing. We’ve both been working ourselves to the bone trying to stay afloat, even facing the threat of losing our home. The threat came after being severely taken advantage of by individuals and systems we thought we could trust. Asking for help isn’t easy—I feel like I’ve failed her by not being able to do this on my own. But she deserves a chance to live without pain. Her dream is to one day build a community garden where people can come together to heal and grow. If you’re able to help in any way, we’d be deeply grateful.
