Turning Grief Into Art: Support Our Film

Hi! I'm Josh Price, and on behalf of my team, I'd like to say welcome.

We are shooting a short film later this summer. It is the story of being in the right place, with the right people, for all the wrong news. Or, if you want to get the inside scoop, this is the story of the day I found out my dad had died. I was in another state, about to start a new life, when someone showed up to let me know that my life was about to be even more different than I had expected. Losing a parent is never an easy thing to go through, and my team and I have written a script that we believe captures the raw emotion and unique experience of living through that day. We would like to bring that story to life for you. And thankfully, we can!

This GoFundMe is just the last little bit to get us over the finish line. Aside from a couple small pieces of equipment, this money is largely for the team. These guys are dedicated to the project, and they deserve to get paid properly for their time. They are helping me bring a very emotional part of my life to the screen.

And that's where you come in! Your donations will not only help us get the last of the equipment we need to make a beautiful story come to life, you'll be helping us to pay the actors and artists who are sacrificing their time and energy to make it all come together. Principle photography will be done in September, and we are hoping to be able to release the film in late October or early November.
