The Harvested Throne
Turning E-Waste into Innovation | Empowering Underserved Students
Vishwaa, a brilliant final-year engineering student from a humble background, didn’t dream of buying the latest technology — he dreamed of building it.
His passion is robotics, but the reality around him is stacked against students like him: expensive components, locked-down labs, and learning limited to textbook diagrams.
Everywhere he looked, he saw discarded printers, broken phones, and outdated computers — the silent graveyard of technology. Where others saw e-waste, he saw possibilities. But possibilities alone can’t build the future.
That’s why we’re launching The Harvested Throne — an open, autonomous research lab designed to elevate underserved students and give their genius a platform.
What Makes This Lab Different
Unlike conventional labs that depend on costly equipment, The Harvested Throne follows a circular economy model — building advanced systems using functional components from e-waste.
Students will learn and build real technologies like:
Robotics & Automation
IoT & Smart Systems
Rapid Prototyping with 3D Printing
♻️ E-waste Upcycling Engineering
It’s more than a lab. It’s a launchpad for innovation — powered not by privilege, but by creativity and access.
Stage One Goal: $5,000
We are raising $5,000 to fund the Stage One setup of the Aerovil Smart Research Lab.
Your contribution will help us:
Set up the core infrastructure for e-waste harvesting and component re-use ️
Procure and refurbish essential tools like 3D printers and testing kits ️
Implement secure, autonomous access to the lab (so it runs 24/7)
Launch the first workshops to train students in robotics and sustainable engineering
This is not a one-time experiment — this is the foundation of a scalable, future-ready educational model.
Our Vision
We are building this as a global, replicable model of educational equity and environmental responsibility.
Supported by academic and industry experts from:
IIT Madras
MIT
Ivy League institutions
Hyperloop innovation projects
Their mentorship will ensure that what begins as a small lab becomes a world-class innovation hub for underserved students.
Why This Matters
Every dollar funds real tools and learning opportunities for students who otherwise would never access advanced tech.
Every salvaged device reduces e-waste and builds a sustainable future.
Every student empowered becomes a problem-solver and innovator for their community.
