Hi everyone, my name is Imani and I’m a senior this year. Prom is on April 17th, and it’s something I’ve been looking forward to for a long time. I won Prom Princess last year, and this year I’m running for Prom Queen, which makes this moment even more special to me.

Back in November, I went through something really difficult that almost made me give up on school completely. Even though that situation hurt me a lot, I pushed myself to keep going because I wanted to finish my senior year strong. I want at least one good memory to look back on something that reminds me I made it through everything.

Right now, I’m struggling to afford a prom dress or even get help going to pick one out. I don’t usually ask for help, but this is one of those moments where I really need support. If you’re able to donate anything toward my prom dress, even the smallest amount would mean so much.
