Meet Turner Morris, a 17 year old Cowboy from shelby, NC who was chasing his dreams one rodeo at a time. On June 13, 2026 he fractured his C6 and was paralyzed from a Saddle Bronc riding accident in Conyers, Georgia. Turner was life flighted to Grady Memorial Hospital where he had surgery and decompressed his spinal cord. He spent 10 days at Grady and then he was transferred to The Shepherd Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
Shepherd is a wonderful catastrophic hospital. While at Shepherd Turner has worked extremely hard in Physical Therapy as well as occupational therapy. Turner has completed inpatient therapy and is currently in the outpatient day program at The Shepherd Center.
What will the funds be used for? This fund is very specific to providing the next step in physical therapy. Insurance will pay for PT/ OT, but there are limitations to the number of treatments that insurance can deem necessary.
We have found a Rehab in Ft. Mill, SC that provides wonderful rehab outside of the scope of insurance. They also offer cutting edge therapy. Shepherd also has a beyond therapy program that is private pay as well.
This will be a long process and we appreciate any amount that can be used for the specialized therapy. Even if you can't donate, share this, pray for Turner and know that Jesus loves you.
