We are the Turner/Bartels K-8 Technology Student Association chapter. We established our chapter during the 2015-2016 school year with the goal of becoming the #1 chapter in the state. In 2018 we achieved our goal and gained the title of the #1 TSA chapter in the state of Florida. We currently have 30 travel team members and are gaining more members each year. The funds we raise will help our students attend and compete at the District, State, and National TSA Conference and Competitions to show the world what they can do.
TSA is a national organization of students engaged in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). We are looking for business leaders, educators, and parents that believe in the need for a technologically literate society. Our members learn though exciting hands on competitive events, leadership opportunities, and community service projects. We believe in taking learning beyond the classroom.
Turner/Bartels TSA is looking to raise a generation of students that are educated with real world skills, ambition, guidance, and realistic expectations of what it means to work. Our chapter members compete in 34 STEM based events ranging from Medical and Forensic Technology, Web Design, Geospatial Technology, Public Speaking, Inventions and Innovations, Dragster Design, Mass Production, Robotics, and Essays on Technology just to name a few.
The 4 events we are raising funds to send our members are:
Florida TSA Leadership Conference - Nov in Orlando Florida
Manatee County District Competition - Dec in Bradenton, Fl
Florida TSA State Conference & Competition - Feb in Orlando, Florida
National TSA Conference & Competition - June in Atlanta, GA.
The funds raised will be used to cover travel expenses, registrations, hotels, supplies, and food for our students.
Will you please consider investing in the future of Turner/Bartels TSA and help create the innovators of tomorrow.
