Bistro Off Broad would cordially like to invite you to be a part of a Fund-Raising Campaign for Juan J. and Olga Turner. When there is a health crisis within your family, the last issue you would like to worry about is the way you will pay for your treatment. Our fellow, co-worker Juan J Turner’s wife, Olga Turner, went through multiple procedures due to her abdomen health that caused further complications with her intestines, leaving Olga attached to a stomach sac and over $400,000.00 in medical expenses.
“The only promises we received at discharge was that she would have further admissions to the hospital, ER visits and continuous need of medial help and support for the rest of her life”
How did Bistro Off Broad get involved? Juan J. Turner, is a fellow worker at the Bistro who works as a cook in the kitchen. The staff at the Bistro would describe him as a happy, outgoing and a very hard-working individual. No matter the situation at home, or the work load, Juan never seized to stop thriving. He continues to amaze us with his determination and strong mindset in the work place. Juan’s hard work does not stop at the Bistro, he actually works a secondary full-time job to support his family as well as being Olga’s best friend, and supporter. He is not a quitter, and Bistro Off Broad appreciates his efforts to the highest extent.
“We are approaching round 2 within the next month of a colostomy reversal. Her surgeon wants her to wait until the flu season subsides so she won’t have extra obstacles recovering in the hospital. The Surgeons believe she may not make it through but we believe at this point it is worth the change to attempt at having a better quality of life with our family”
Bistro Off Broad, will be sponsoring an evening event in June, but in case you cannot come and donate at the event, we kindly would like to ask you to donate through this GoFundme page.
