Privit(Ukraine: Hello) Family, Friends, and Acquaintances,

I am beyond grateful for each one of you. Thank you for taking your precious time to read my story and the beginning of my journey through this short chapter of my life.

Hi, my name is Iryna Boiarchuk, I was born and raised in Ukraine and moved to the United States, 10 years ago. I am 42 years old and a single mother with three kids. Two of which are living with me in beautiful Washington. My son Lev, who is 9 yrs old and my daughter Tiasia, 7 yrs old. I'm proud of my oldest and amazing daughter Liza is 21yrs old, and is making a life on her own. I am a survivor of being involved in an abusive marriage, in which I have been able to leave my husband. I have spent 6 months in a shelter for battered women and I am now in a small apartment. State assistance has provided me with food stamps for me and my two kids.

I have been able to manage fairly well with my situation until I recently found out I have stage 2, possibly stage three breast cancer. Currently, I've been under the care of Swedish Hospital, Cancer Care Alliance, and Virginia Mason clinics. I have started chemotherapy this month and will undergo a vasectomy on both my breasts and lymph nodes.

It was suggested by a good friend to start a GoFundMe campaign. As much as I am embarrassed to ask for more assistance and request, I am told it will be needed in my situation. I have terminated my part-time employment so I can take care of myself, my health, and my family.

Although I have also started reaching out to all my friends, my church, and any resources that may be provided. I am Humbly and Graciously asking for your help, financially, with helping me cover any medical costs and living expenses. I am requesting $50,000 to get me through these next few months.

Many may see this obstacle as devastating, but I have a different outlook on life. A small pivot allows me to keep my body as healthy and active as my Top Priority. I also allow my Art(drawing and painting) and crafts(knitting and crocheting) to help me keep my mind clear. And my Dreams, are to watch my children grow, and to travel to Hawaii and Disney World, which keeps my Why alive and why I fight so hard every day.

I am unbelievably grateful for your consideration, love, and generosity. I am also deeply humbled. Life is more than just me, it's about me sharing my story with the world so I can help to strengthen another human being and the community.
