Hi, I'm Tim Sefton from Sefton Motors -
We're a small company in Michigan that builds heat engines that generate electricity. In addition, we sell the specifications on how to build these engines if so desired. A year or so ago, a fellow Eugene Demidov (from Ukraine) purchased a set of plans from us. Then the war with Russia started. Eugene is an engineer, he has a wife and daughter.
"My name is Eugene Demidov, I'm an engineer but for a long time I've been working as a technical Project Manager in different projects like creating ATV, aviation industry and mining for now. I have a wife and a small daughter, she's almost 7 years old now. Because of the war we had to leave our flat in Kyiv and found an old house in a small village near Dunaivtsi. Now we have a lot of trouble because of the lack of electricity which might be much worse in the near future. As the Stirling engine can be made of material and technology which we had in Ukraine, making it here might help not only me but other people also, compare it to the 100% imported fuel generators or sun panels."
Ukraine's power generation has been decimated. There is a real need for electric generating solutions that can help today.
Our Melvin engine is one of the simplest heat engines on the market today. It can use any type of heat to run. Burning wood, burning waste oil from abandoned vehicles, natural gas, propane, rubble, hay, or any other type of heat source can power the engine.
We'd love to send over a container full of Melvin engines to Ukraine but that is not in the cards. We are backed up on current orders and not in a position to change that in the near future.
This fundraiser is to provide Eugene with the funds so that he can build one or more Melvin Engines to generate electricity directly in Ukraine. All the funds donated will be provided to Eugene for engine building - Sefton Motors will not retain any of the funds donated.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
