I'm finally cutting my hair off, this time for a cause!
My Hair Journey: From Wild Colours to a Fresh Start.
For years, my hair has been my playground, from every colour imaginable to countless cuts. The confidence a great hairstyle gives you is incredible, and I've always had the privilege of knowing that no matter what I did, it would always grow back.
But not everyone has that certainty. Some amazing children and young people lose their hair during cancer treatment, facing a tough journey without knowing if or when it will return.
The Decision: Going Back to Zero.
Back in October 2020, I made a big change. I shaved off all my coloured hair to hit a "reset button" (See the pictures for the before, the shave and the growth ).
I had a new mission: to grow my hair out, completely natural, and donate it to help someone else feel that incredible boost of confidence I've always cherished.
After years of growth and patience, I've finally reached my goal length! ✨
The Big Cut: January 9th, 2026.
On January 9th, 2026, I will be cutting my long hair and donating it to The Little Princess Trust.
This incredible charity does two truly life-changing things:
1. They provide free, real-hair wigs to children and young people who have lost their hair, helping to restore their self-esteem during a difficult time.
2. They fund vital research into childhood cancers, aiming for kinder, less toxic treatments and striving towards a future where no child dies from cancer.
Help Me Turn My Hair into Hope: Our £700 Goal!
It costs The Little Princess Trust £700 to make and fit just one real-hair wig.
I'm asking for your help to fully fund a wig that will be created using my donated hair! Every pound you donate goes directly towards giving a child the gift of confidence.
Can you spare anything to help me reach my £700 target?
Thank you so much for reading and supporting this mission. Let’s turn this hair into happiness! ❤️
I'm so incredibly grateful to have managed to hit my target so quickly! Thank you to everyone that has donated, shared or even just read this fundraiser.
Because of the incredible support I've received I've decided to challenge myself further and am hoping to reach double my original target to support The Little Princess Trust in making 2 wigs
