A magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck Turkey. A lot of cities have been affected and Turkey has officially asked for international aid. Given the economic conditions, timing (04:17 local time when everyone was sleeping at home), and freezing weather in the area, urgent help will be needed. Deaths are expected to be in the thousands & rescue efforts are just starting – with the next 48 hours being the most critical.

Turkey has declared a fourth-level alert stating the level for the condition includes an international call for help for those of you around the world reading this massage our people who were under the rubble of the earthquake in my country need your help to be saved.

More than a thousand people have been killed, and injured and numerous others are trapped after a massive earthquake struck a large area in southeast Turkey.
