Jesse here,
The Master's University is offering an incredible tour of Turkey and Greece this December/next January. I've always wanted to travel to Europe, but this is much more than that: we'll be learning about the New Testament by visiting the sites where the events of the Bible actually took place. Sites include:
- Greek and Roman Agoras (Acts 17).
- Acrocorinth (Acts 18, 1&2 Corinthians)
- Thessalonica (Acts 17, 1&2 Thessalonians)
- Troas, (Acts 16)
- Thyatira (Revelation 1-3)
- Ephesus (Acts 19, Ephesians, Revelation 1-3, 1&2 Timothy)
- Colossae (Revelation 1-3, Colossians)
- Laodicea.(Revelation 1-3)
And many, many more. Here's the rough path we're taking through the area:
Here's what the school has to say about the trip:
This trip has been designed as an academic study tour for students from The Master’s University (TMU). The primary focus will be on visiting New Testament archaeological sites and related museums. Our local instructors in both Turkey and Greece are strong evangelical believers who are extremely knowledgeable about the historical and biblical significance of the sites.
