Turkey Club a Short Film

Hi, I'm Reilly Bair, a Senior Film Production major at Pratt Institute. Having developed a passion for storytelling at a young age, I found that I was not much interested in the contemporary methods of telling stories such as writing blogs, novels or articles. I wanted to share stories in a way that my work could immediately connect with an audience's emotions. The films I create are a representation of having grown up with separated parents, an analysis of fragmented relationships forges the baseline of my work.

Logline: Mark, a fledgling new hire, gets into trouble with a colleague at work when he mistakes her lunch for his own. Frustrated with his cubicle and his employees’ opinions of himself, he reacts indifferently, making mistakes that may be irreversible.

Over the next month, I am creating/directing a short fictional film about a sheltered straight white male and his troubles assimilating with PC standards, specifically in the workplace. The goal of this film is to accentuate the destructive close-minded and entitled attitudes, which are bred in complacency and culturally homogeneous environments. To do this successfully, I need to raise a round of funds in order to successfully create my vision! My current goal is to raise a total of $3,000 in donations, of which every penny will go toward the Pre and post-production of this short film. Every donation is a step closer to making my script a reality and will go towards financing several moving parts, including:

* Equipment Rentals

*Actor Payment

*Crew payment

* Meals for my crew and actors

* Post Production Sound Design and Mix

* Filming permits and copyrighting fees

* Crew and talent transportation

* Film Festival Submission Fees

Once the film is completed, any remaining donations will be allocated to color correction and picture editor expenses.
