For over 70 years, the Fleet Street Fields have been the heart of the Forest Hills Youth Athletic Association (FHYAA). It’s where our kids score their first touchdowns, hit their first home runs, and learn the value of teamwork.

But our fields are struggling.

Within just a few weeks of the soccer season starting, our natural grass vanishes. Our athletes are left playing on hard-packed, dusty dirt that turns into a dangerous mud pit with just a single afternoon of rain. For our football players in the winter, the frozen ground is unforgiving. We are forced to cancel dozens of practices and games every year because the surface simply isn't safe.

Our kids deserve better. They deserve a field that works as hard as they do.

The Vision: A True Multi-Sport Home

We are raising funds to install a state-of-the-art, all-weather synthetic turf system at Fleet Street. This project will:

️ Prioritize Safety: Provide a consistent, cushioned surface that reduces injuries.

Eliminate Rain-Outs: Turf drains instantly, meaning the game goes on—rain or shine.

⚽⚾ Maximize Play: A multi-purpose design with portable mounds to support Soccer, Baseball, Softball, and Football all on one elite surface.

We have an incredible opportunity to jumpstart this project. FHYAA is applying for the NFL Foundation Grassroots Grant, which offers a matching grant of up to $250,000.

Here is the catch: To unlock that $250,000, we have to raise the matching funds ourselves.
