Help get my life back...

Hello there, thanks for taking the time for reading my story.

Firstly, I never thought I would be that person to reach out to ask for help, I'm the opposite, I am that person that is always there to help others.

Currently I live on a boat called Herbie here in the UK, I'm currently what is called continuously cruising, where I have to move every my boat every two weeks. This was never where I thought I'd be. But due since 2019 I have been caught in the perfect storm. From moving on to the boat to start a new job as I couldn't find anywhere to rent because of my dog. The job then fell through because of the moorings falling through, then being hit financially by the pandemic, here in the UK if you were a Freelancer, you were not entitled to any financial help from the government, so all the money I had saved to retrain as mental health counsellor I ended up having to use in order to live, including selling my car and maxing out my overdraft and credit cards.

I managed to secure a job back in 2021, but the majority of my earnings went to pay back debt from the pandemic. Since leaving the job due to mental health issues in December 2021, I have been trying to find a job, but it's hard when you don't have an address and you don't know where you're going to be moored.

I'm reaching out to you folks in order to help repair my boat, my engine is broken and I can't move, plus help pay for a vet to help with my elderly dog who has cancer and is in constant pain because I can't afford to go to the vets and to help retrain as a mental health counsellor, because I want to support others who like me fall through the cracks of society.
