ATTENTION FAM, gather round — this is not a drill.
My son is officially hitting 18 — wild, considering the rollercoaster that was his childhood (shout-out to both his parents for providing elite-level character development ).

Despite the chaos he started with, this kid has launched himself into adulthood like he’s got stock options. He’s finished his Cert II in General Education, got his license, bought a car, and is now aiming for the Australian Federal Police. Meanwhile, I’m over here still trying to remember where I left my keys.

He has zero idea what he wants for his birthday — classic teenage boy energy — so I came up with a symbolic gift: a decent watch. Something that says, “Congrats on becoming a functioning adult, even though your parents gave you a plotline worthy of a Netflix series.”

Problem? Watches are apparently priced like they’re made of unicorn teeth, and my bank account is currently doing the financial equivalent of wheezing into a paper bag.
So! I’ve set up a GoFundMe for anyone who wants to help make this milestone gift happen. No pressure — donate, share, or just pretend you didn’t see this post (we’ve all done it)

Thanks, team. Let’s celebrate this kid’s glow-up, resilience, and the fact he turned out amazing in spite of us, not because of us. ❤️
