Hello. It's me.
I lost one of my parents recently to early onset Alzheimer's. Before they passed, I was taking care of them while they were on hospice at home. I have depleted my PTO, so I've been essentially out of work for more than a week, and all available funds I had have gone toward final arrangements and some of my bills (phone, car insurance). Future funds (if I have any) will be going toward rent and funeral costs, so that still leaves my car on the back burner.
My car payment is more than two months past due, as I was originally intending to catch up post-hospitalization this month. I'm worried about my car being repossessed, as I need it to get to work (when I go back) and back up to my parents' house to continue helping settle things around here.
I hate to ask for any kind of help. I've been trying to scrape money together, my family has been trying to help, too. But they're in a similar position due to also taking time from work, and we've pooled our funds to cover the final arrangements. I'm tapped out for a while and will likely have a $0 paycheck next week. Panic is setting in. Any help at all is appreciated more than you could ever know.
