Tune-Up for Scott Gandy

In 2007, Scott was in a quad accident. What was thought to be a traumatic brain bleed actually turned out to be a brain tumor. At that time we were told it was a low grade glioma and surgery was sufficient treatment.
Scott has suffered from seizures that started a few years after surgery. A person who hates taking medicine, has had to take seizure meds on a daily basis to control them. The burden of these seizures are tremendous enough and when he does have a seizure it takes a lot out of him. He has even had to stop driving due to it. Over this past year the seizures began to change. He knew something wasn't right and went to his neurologist.
Right before Scott's 40th birthday he had a MRI, showing that the tumor is back.
Scott will be having a 4 hour surgery Tues., June 16th, to hopefully remove it all. He will have a long recovery ahead of him. We won't know the extent of it until after surgery. He will also need to have at least 6 weeks of radiation.
We all know Scott is strong and a fighter. Since he will not be able to work during his treatment, Shannon will be the sole provider for their family, all while trying to balance the care of Scott and the kids. He's ready for this surgery and ready to get back to the tracks with his kids.

He has 4 kids, Mason, Haylie, Landon, and Harlee and an amazing wife, Shannon.
Please help the Gandy family in this difficult time! They are definitely not the people that ask for anything and will be there for you in a heartbeat. It will help give them the peace of mind to not stress over paying bills. Please send all your positive thoughts and prayers their way.
I’ve had several people want to donate but not through GoFundMe. We can take offline donations and there will be no fees. Contact me (Tracy, Scott’s sister) if you have any questions.
