Tundra's Townhouse: In Honor of Keelie

Donation protected
For all my followers, especially those following the story of Tundra and her special stick... here's our story...

Almost 3 weeks ago, Tundra (fka as Elvira at IACS) and I had our world's crushed. She lost her mom, and I lost a best friend.

Because Tundra is a special girl, Keelie had trained and eventually adopted her to save her from euthanasia. With her passing, I have been given the honor and privilege of caring for Tundra in her remaining years. My grandma's name was Elvira, and I have always had an affinity that has felt like some sort of connection with Tundra. Now, I know why, but hate that me becoming her mom is through the passing of someone Tundra and I both loved deeply.

Currently, she is in a 5x15 kennel in my climate controlled garage with a few other dogs in my care, but in honor of her mom and to give her the best life, I would like to give her the closest thing to a home of her own, as she has a small circle of trusted people, and is currently unable to live with another dog. That being said, she has a whole lot of heart and is so soulful. She has one of the most fun loving personalities of any dog that I have ever worked with, and to be honest, she and I need each other right now, as we both grieve.

We are looking to build Tundra a tiny house on our property (as we did for Ceelo). I have most of the furnishings, but we unfortunately don't have the money break ground and to get her her own special place to call "home". Costs to do this will be around 15k. If there are any additional funds, they will be put towards any veterinary care for her, as she is around 9 years old, and will be in need of continued care throughout the rest of her life (something I was not financially prepared for at this time).

Thank you for considering us and helping us honor and remembering Keelie, an amazing friend and an even better dog mom and trainer.

Here is an example picture of one of the options we are looking at. And some approximate numbers based on us constructing the "Ceelo Shack" last year.

150-200 Stone
300 Foundation Lumber
60 rebar
200 Shingles
5 roof nails
120 insulation
150 drywall
15 drywall screws
50 drywall mud
120 eletrical wire
100 for lights and shockets/switches
5-10k 12x16 cabin and delivery
3k fencing
