Hi, my name is Morwenna Petaia. We are fundraising to cover the costs for the Tuna & Fata Ailao Performance. This will be the first performance of its kind in Melbourne. We are recipients for the Wyndham Arts Grant 2026 which allowed us to purchase the props needed for the performance. This is our first time to produce an ailao performance and we did not realise the additional costs that were required to go along with the performance such as rehearsal space, venue, music, promotional materials and the list goes on.

We have approached some businesses for sponsorships but was unsuccessful. We are also holding a t-shirt fundraiser so people can purchase a Measina Siva Afi t-shirt and the proceeds go to the performance.

We know that a $60 t-shirt can be out of reach for some and so we decided to hold this so that people can donate whatever they can afford no matter how small. We know it will all add up.
