Gift Tumusiime: A Young Mother Fighting for Her Life
Gift, a devoted mother in Uganda, has been bravely battling aggressive facial cancer—but for years, she was denied care simply because she couldn’t afford it. Doctors now warn she may have only months left. Every day, her two young daughters pray for her survival.
Moved by her courage and the urgency of her situation, Nino Pischke (Germany) and Georg W. Muakama (Uganda) launched this campaign to give Gift a chance at life. With your support, we can turn prayers into action—helping fund the urgent, life-saving treatment she desperately needs.

When I first heard Gift Tumusiime’s story—a courageous young mother in Uganda fighting aggressive facial cancer—I knew I had to act. Watching someone be denied life-saving care simply because of financial barriers broke my heart.
I partnered with Georg W. Muakama to launch this campaign because every life mano mother should leave her children behind due to lack of support. Gift’s strength, and the love of her two young daughters, inspires us every single day.
