It started January 2024 and I had a fever of 102 with severe pain in my abdomen. UPMC drained the buildup of fluid and in a matter of 10 days with massive amounts of antibiotics, diagnosed me with two tumors on my colon and my bladder. They were removed in March 2024 and began chemo 2 months later. I wrapped up that chemo in October, but now my most recent blood tests have shown an increase in two of the markers. I will have follow up blood work in two weeks to confirm those markers but currently I still owe UPMC just over $2000. The bills will continue to compile as I may… May need additional chemo. Nevertheless the bills and co-pays will continue for the next two years at least with more bloodwork, scans and appointments.
Any help is very important and appreciated. Thank you. Positive thoughts
