Hola mi nombres es Maria Jezahabell Torres Ruiz y les vengo a contar un poco por todo el proceso que eh pasado en el 2008 fui diagnosticada de Cáncer en el seno izquierdo en Las Vegas NV, me atendí de forma particular con el Dr. Jorge Zavala Reyes y Enero 2009 fue mi primera cirugía, removiendo el tumor que peso alrededor de 400gr. como hubo operación en los bordes quedaron células cancerígenas y sacando Ganglios, así recibiendo mi segunda cirugía por renovación en Sep-2009, tomando tratamiento Tamoxifeno diario , un médicamente fuerte ya que tenia encapsulado en etapa 4 la etapa más avanzada del cancer el cual le doy gracias a Dios pude superar!

En Marzo 2014 el Dr. Machuca me envió a Pueblo Medical Imaging de urgencias por un dolor en mi brazo izquierdo donde nos dio nuevamente un resultado de Cáncer.

En ese entonces yo vivía con mi pareja en Las Vegas pero como estábamos en un proceso de residencia y no podíamos usar los recursos de apoyo para no echar a perder el tramite migratorio tuve que tomar una de las decisiones más fuertes para mi que fue irme a la ciudad de México a tratar mi cancer de nuevo separándonos físicamente por primera ves (duramos 4 años así) el cual nuestras citas eran solo por videollamadas, fue un momento muy difícil para mi el no poder tenerlo a mi lado en este proceso. Llego a Fucam el 9 de Septiembre 2014, se me hicieron los estudios dando positivo nuevamente,siendo Operada el 20 de Noviembre 2014, el dia 23 de Diciembre recibí Mi primera quimioterapia en total recibí 8 quimios y 21 Radios, se me medicó hasta Septiembre del 2022 Anaztrozol.

Cuando todo parece estar bien decidimos CASARNOS mi esposo se viene a Tijuana conmigo donde vivimos actualmente y PIERDE todos los años de sacrificio para el trámite de su residencia el cual ya no nos importo porque necesitábamos estar juntos! Pasa el tiempo y cuando empiezo con el proceso de preparación de mi boda me empecé a sentir muy mal al principio pensábamos que por todo el estrés de la boda y cansancio del trabajo podía estar así pero a finales de Agosto se me diagnostico vértigo, después infección en los oídos los cuales me hacían sentir muy mal todo el día así que fui a Fucam y me dijeron que era parte de la desintoxicación ya que tengo desde el 2008 hasta ahora el 2022 tomando medicamento fuerte fueron días en los que yo vomitaba muy amarillo hasta 3 veces al día y me daban dolores de cabeza fuertes, mi boda seguía en pie pensando que todo era una desintoxicación como me dijeron, ME CASO en méxico con toda mi familia y amigos (no sintiéndome muy bien físicamente PERO FELIZ DE CUMPLIR MI SUEÑO) tuve que dejar de manejar desde Agosto y dejar de trabajar desde Noviembre. llegando a Tijuana de nuevo mis síntomas siguen igual así que mi mama me mando hacer la Imagen del cerebro para ver que todo estuviera bien, Diagnosticándome ahora con un TUMOR en la cabeza se necesita operar y removerlo de URGENCIA! no debo tener estrés, agacharme, caminar rápido, no debo hacer ni un tipo de esfuerzo, médicamente en cualquier momento puedo convulsionarme, ya me he caído varías veces y donde esta ubicado el tumor necesita ser removido lo antes posible.

agradezco la ayuda de mi sobrina Erika Paola Rodriguez en tratar de ayudarme a juntar los fondos para poder ser operada y la de todos ustedes por tocarse el corazón y ayudarme a seguir viviendo esta lucha y poder disfrutar más momentos alado de mi ahora esposo y familia !

Hello, my name is Maria Jezahabell Torres Ruiz and I am here to tell you a little about the whole process that I have gone through in 2008, I was diagnosed with Cancer in the left breast in Las Vegas NV, I received special attention from Dr. Jorge Zavala Reyes and January 2009 was my first surgery, removing the tumor that weighed around 400g. Since there was an operation on the edges, cancer cells remained and lymph nodes were removed, thus receiving my second surgery for renewal in Sep-2009, taking daily Tamoxifen treatment, a medically strong drug since it was encapsulated in stage 4, the most advanced stage of cancer, which I give Thank God I was able to overcome! In March 2014, Dr. Machuca sent me to the Pueblo Medical Imaging emergency room for pain in my left arm where he again gave us a result of Cancer.

At that time I lived with my partner in Las Vegas but since we were in a residence process and we could not use the support resources to avoid spoiling the immigration process, I had to make one of the strongest decisions for me, which was to go to Mexico City to treat my cancer again, physically separating us for the first time (we lasted like this for 4 years) which our appointments were only by video calls, it was a very difficult time for me not being able to have him by my side in this process. I arrived at Fucam on September 9, 2014, the studies were done giving me positive again, being operated on November 20, 2014, on December 23 I received my first chemotherapy in total I received 8 chemo and 21 radios, I was medicated until September of 2022 Anaztrozole. When everything seems to be fine we decide to GET MARRIED my husband comes to Tijuana with me where we currently live and LOSES all the years of sacrifice for the process of his residency which we no longer care about because we needed to be together! Time goes by and when I start the preparation process for my wedding I began to feel very bad at first we thought that due to all the stress of the wedding and fatigue from work I could be like this but at the end of August I was diagnosed with vertigo, then an infection in my ears which made me feel very bad all day so I went to Fucam and they told me that it was part of the detoxification since I have been taking strong medication since 2008 until now, 2022 were days in which I vomited very yellow until 3 times a day and I had severe headaches, my wedding was still going on thinking that everything was a detox as they told me, I GET MARRIED in Mexico with all my family and friends (not feeling very well physically BUT HAPPY TO FULFILL MY DREAM) I had to stop driving since August and stop working since November. Arriving in Tijuana again my symptoms are still the same so my mom sent me to do a brain scan to see that everything was fine. Now diagnosing me with a TUMOR in my head, I need to operate and remove it urgently!

I must not have stress, bend down, walk fast, I must not make any kind of effort, medically at any time I can have a seizure, I have already fallen several times and where the tumor is located it needs to be removed as soon as possible. I appreciate the help of my niece Erika Paola Rodriguez in trying to help me raise the funds to be able to have surgery and all of you for touching my heart and helping me to continue living this fight and being able to enjoy more moments with my now husband and family!
