Tumble Dry - Short Film Fundraiser

Hey everyone!

We are a group of Screen arts students from Curtin University working on our graduation film “Tumble Dry”. We have just begun our full production and would deeply appreciate the support of the public in bringing this film to life!

What is Tumble Dry?

Tumble Dry follows sisters Sammie - an imaginative 11-year-old absorbed by the world of her beloved toy ponies - and Elise - a dismissive and moody teenager just trying to finish their laundry. When Sammie tragically loses her favorite pony at their local laundromat and is neglected by Elise, she must stand up for herself and retrieve it before it's too late!

At its core, Tumble Dry is a story about the coming-of-age for children and teenagers alike, showcasing the different ways it affects us in various stages of our lives. It focuses on the unbreakable bond between siblings and the intimidating transition into independence as we grow up.

The whole team is super passionate about this story and want to make this film the best it can be!

Where will my money be used?

Any donation you make, big or small, will help greatly in so many ways:

Any funds will go straight back into supporting our film. After we have completed our production, any remaining funds will be donated to The Smith Family charity. Even if your money doesn't go towards our production, it will still go to a great cause. We pocket absolutely nothing!

Is there anything in it for me?

Yes! Other than forever having our love and appreciation, we will include your name or an alias of your choice in our credits as a ‘supporter’ if you donate $10 or more!

(Names and aliases considered inappropriate will be excluded without refund)

What if I can’t donate any money right now?

Thats totally ok! The next best thing you can do is to spread the word. Send this to your friends, family and whoever else you might know who could donate!
