I became involved in animal conservation two years ago by trying to help a friend care for his animals. He was tragically killed by an escaped camel.
By helping him I saw the overwhelming need for true animal sanctuary. Our goals include working with Con Mono Maya toward the rescue and rehabilitation of Spider Monkeys and running a no-kill shelter for street dogs of the Yucatan Peninsula.
