The Philippines continues to be ravaged by COVID-19.

On October 30th, the Philippines reported its highest single-day coronavirus deaths, mostly due to the reclassification of previous cases, the health ministry said.  

With nearly 2.8 million cases and 43,044 deaths, the Philippines has Southeast Asia's second highest infections and casualties, next to Indonesia.

The low COVID-19 vaccination rate at 22% contributes to their suffering.

We are a group of Filipino nurses, doctors and leaders whose goal is to raise money to help feed our fellow Filipino frontline workers in six hospitals throughout both urban and rural areas in the Philippines. 

 
To help alleviate the stress and fatigue of long hours worked by frontline teams, we are providing nutritious hot meals that they can share to help foster a sense of community and camaraderie and improve their morale.

 

With the holidays approaching, many of these frontline workers will likely be working to take care of their patients instead of spending time with their families and loved ones.  Please join in our efforts to help them build the strength and resilience they need to continue their important and sacred work.
