Stand with Nate in His Health Battle

Donation protected
On Tuesday, May 28, while coaching his daughter's softball game, Nate started experiencing a pain in his back. As he continued to coach, the pain was getting worse. So much so, that he couldn't drive home. His wife Brooke took him to the ER in Sioux Falls where they found he had an aortic aneurysm (a separation of the lining of the aorta). He was airlifted to the University of Minnesota Medical Center where he underwent open heart surgery to repair the aneurysm. He was in intensive care for 7 days and has now begun therapy. The medical bills have not started to come in but are expected to be high.

Nate has been active in slowpitch softball as a player in the Sioux Falls area and he helps coach his oldest daughter's fastpitch softball team (Fusion Heat). Both daughters are active in ninja warrior obstacle competitions (605 Ninja), softball, volleyball, and wrestling (Rider Wrestling Club) in the Sioux Falls Area. Nate works for Dakota Sports/Daubys in Sioux Falls.

UPDATE: Nate returned home on Thursday, June 6th. His progress has been good, but will be slow. He has restrictions that will prevent him from working for several weeks.
