Tuition for a 2023 Senior

Hi, my name is Kirsten. I am a current senior at Opelousas Catholic School, and I have been a student here since kindergarten (2010). We are struggling to make ends meet with my tuition expenses.

My parents have had a difficult time since July of 2022 with their health, and both has stayed in the hospital for months at a time at separate times. I was left trying to keep things situated at home. Money has been our struggle since I started back at school in August 2022, being so happy to finally be a senior.

As many of you know, there are many situations going on with Opelousas Catholic. My parents went to meet with the principal on March 27, 2023 to see if there was anything that could be done. Our school left us hopeless. If tuition fees are not met, I will be dismissed on April 17, 2023. When I get dismissed or pulled from OC, all of my grades since freshmen year will be nonexistent, and they refuse to release any of my grades.

I had finally gotten accepted into college for the Fall semester of 2023, with news later delivered that I most likely will not graduate high school. My family was so proud of me for getting accepted into college and wanting to persue my dream.

If anyone could help, that would be amazing and you are truly a blessing from God. I hate to ask for help, but this is my last defense in order to graduate on time.
