Hi my name is D'Angelo and I have been accepted into a grammar school after passing their 11+ exam.

I am asking for your support to help with my tuition fees as this is an amazing opportunity for me and I have put in a lot of hard work and effort to get this far. I am due to start year 7 in September and I am very excited to start this new journey but worried that I may not be able to complete the full 5 years.

I aspire to be a pilot and fly all around the world. Currently only 7% of pilots are of ethnic minority and I want to be a part of that. I also enjoy games such as sudoku, chess and playing pokemon TGC. I sing at my local church with the children's choir and I am part of the music school orchestra. I am currently preparing to take my grade 1 violin exam.

At school I have been part of the school council and I am currently sports captain. I have also taken part in young voices and represented the school in football. My favourite subjects at school are maths and PE.

My mom (my biggest inspiration) applied for bursary and scholarship support but we were unsuccessful. She is currently studying physiotherapy full time but with fees of £7312 per term (NOT including bus fare, meals, trips, uniform or clubs/activities) we are asking for help to make my dreams come true.
