Tuition deposit for La-Raine Paul

La-Raine Paul has just been accepted into the Dental Assisting program at the University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry. Her program starts on August 9th, 2021. However, she has been accepted on condition that she pays her deposit fee of $2,240 on or before June 17th, as part of her tuition to hold her spot. As a single mother, La-Raine does not have the financial means to come up with this fee, nor would she be able to receive funding from her band until the program starts. La-Raine is a dedicated young mom who is wanting to offer her daughter a better chance than she had as a child. Her father died in a boating accident when she was three years old and her mother also died tragically, by the time she was 11. She has been wanting to study dentistry since grade 9, and with her daughter now old enough to be in daycare, this is the perfect time.

At her high school graduation, La-Raine was the recipient of several awards: English, Science, highest average) and was the valedictorian. Upon graduating from this program, La-Raine plans to return to the north and help her home community, as well as other northern communities to educate people in dental hygiene so that people can have healthy smiles.
