Richard Cruz  my brother in law, who by all accounts, is known as a very personable guy and  brilliant  professor was recently hospitalized at Makati Medical Center. Initially diagnosed with TIA then stroke  then GOKW( God only knows what). Multiple of tests from MRI, CT scans, to infectious diseases --- all came out negative. He exhibited symptoms that baffled multiple doctors. Almost 3 weeks later, he is stiill in  ICU with a possible , final  diagnosis of A RARE  auto immune disorder of the brain.  He is, we hope, slowly recovering with the new treatment  plan of IV ig and steroids. At this time, hospital stay is still unknown.  Per doctors when asked for prognosis:LET'S  WAIT AND SEE. Thank you for all the support and prayers.
