Get Blue Shell to competition!

Hey! Welcome to Tufts Racing! Want to build a car?
If you’ve ever been an engineering student, you know it can be tough to get out of the classroom and use what you’re learning in the real world. That – and a love of cars – is the reason why we started Tufts Racing back in 2009. From the very beginning we’ve been a student-run organization. We fabricate cars from the ground up, from chassis design to motor controller integration. Since 2009, our team has grown to about 50 students working in 10 collaborative project groups. This year, in April, our hard work finally paid off when we took first place at the 2015 SAE Formula Hybrid Competition in New Hampshire, All-Electric Division. Meet our winning car, Blue Shell!
However, Blue Shell’s career isn’t over. One small competition under our belts, we’ve decided to upgrade our car and fix all its bugs to take it to the big leagues! Next stop: Lincoln, Nebraska, for Formula Electric 2016! Competition against the local engineering schools was tough, but it’ll be nothing compared to the car-company sponsored teams coming down from Detroit. That’s why we’re seeking your help! We’ve got the engineering part down, but we need $2500 to register for the competition, and slots fill up fast. Help us reach our goal, and we’ll put your name on the car!
