Tufts Global Service Learning Trip

In January 2017, the Tufts Global Outreach program will take its second annual trip to Jamaica, partnering with the Healthcare International organization and AAPHD to provide dental care to families, mainly children, in rural areas of Jamaica who have little or no access to healthcare.
The Tufts team will provide dental extractions, cleanings, and fillings, as well as offer a full range of preventative care, including oral health education, free toothbrushes, and toothpaste, to members of the underserved areas of Jamaica. It is a humbling experience to educate the children and adults about the importance of oral hygiene as well as an uplifting feeling to provide dental work to patients who have never had the opportunity of seeing a dentist.
As a team of Tufts dental students finding it difficult to fund the necessities of this trip, we would be sincerely grateful for your donation, large or small. Every dollar of your contribution will go toward our global service trip. The 12 Tufts dental volunteers attending the service trip are pictured below.
We want to honor your contribution:
-For every $25 you give, we will donate 1 bracelet to a child at the local school.
-For every $100 you give, we will donate 1 soccer ball to a family, photograph the memory, and mail you the picture.
